I've been trying out the nebo cloud addon a lot more lately and have been enjoying it though its a bit intensive for my lower end computer. However today I installed the contrail addon that makes the exhaust plumes look more smoky and realistic and it appears that the nebo mod draws upon the particle effects in Orbiter to generate its clouds. I pretty much assumed this long ago but because they share the same effects, the nebo clouds have taken on a brand new and in my mind's eye nicer look. And it was an accident albeit a neat one!:speakcool:

Hey Donamy. I'm using an addon called Southern California mountains http://http://www.orbithangar.com/a...uthor=default&category=default&subcat=default and a Palmdale addon http://http://www.orbithangar.com/a...uthor=default&category=default&subcat=default. Now if I can find a straightforward Edwards AFB it should put it just to the south of the Palmdale texture you see there. And west of those mountains I have a Vandenberg AFB too. East of the mountains I'm also using the White Sands addon that adds a runway surrounded by its own little mountains too. I enjoy flying around the American Southwest and in all of those "Dreamland" type locales.

I have this problem with Nebo. when i fly in the vicinity of a cloud (a couple of hundred meters perhaps), my steering messes up... And continues to mess up even when I've flown far away from the cloud... Is there any way to disable that?

Hey Master of Blades. Yes that happens to me too. I think Nebo must model turbulence which I kind of like. Its very satisfying finally breaking free of the clouds and turbulence in an aircraft/spacecraft and all of the shaking and then reaching the calmer skies.

It would be nice though to for an option to turn this off. Sometimes you just want peacefull clouds.

you need to turn off the 'shakeincloud' switch. it's in the weather.cfg and the scenario. nebo clouds are pretty cool i hope artlav does some more work on it at some point, i'd like to be able to use a unique cloud texture for it, so you have a texture thats tuned specifically for the clouds and another thats the contrail.
