That is the guidance algorithm working, not "AI". The Space Shuttle guidance could command 180º bank (and I'm 99% sure the Buran guidance could also do that).

The BISER-4 OS was modernized using macro commands that replaced the BISER-4 commands that were missing in the BISER-3, and the BISER-6 onboard computer had all the BISER-4 commands.

I doubt it.
One thing are CPU commands (ADD, BNZ, MOV, etc), another are the things you can make with them (software), like read inputs from sensors, calculate things, and output to valves, lights, etc, i.e., perform some "high-level" function like launch, rendezvous or landing.
The CPU commands might have been the same, but the software was different.
