Project Space Shuttle Vessel

So, the promised (and delayed) update!
Finally there is something to show on the "payload preview" feature:

In theory it seemed very simple: add a new scenario version with different state in the vessels and few changes in the camera to show the view above.
In reality, the vehicle didn't fit the PCR. 🤦‍♂️
OK, I'll fix the PCR then.
Fixing the PCR also means fixing the RSS structure... then I almost threw the PC out the window due to the the coordinate conversion between the pad elements, which was solved by putting all the pad elements together, and finally things started moving forward. With the changes in the RSS structure, now the FSS needed some work... by now this wasn't an "avalanche" of work, but instead a "pyroclastic flow" of work.
For the most part, work was limited to "basic structures", leaving details for later, but somethings were improved...

(yes, it is a bit too red, as the structure welds were being painted gray, but that is too much detail to care)

I still have to track a light position update issue in the PCR, a bit more work is required at the top of the PCR, and the GVA still needs to be fixed.... oh, and then there is the PCR at Vandenberg. 🙃

Another question : is it possible to add this chatter from default Atlantis ? I really like the woman's voice :)
I have no idea what voice that is... ATC perhaps? Anyway, not in the plans.

ATC from XRsounds/Altea STS. Although music on orbit sounds, in the cockpit this chatter is missing or muted. Maybe someone managed to add it?

I believe the voice is Canadian astronaut Julie Payette.
She was the Orbit 2 (afternoon on-orbit shift in STS FCR) for STS-114 in July 2005. She was also the Orbit 2 (lead ISS shift) CAPCOM during STS-121, the following year.

Can be something more exciting in Orbiter than the Shuttle operations? I do't think so...do you agree?
:)

I actually disagree.
after visiting Moon and already looking towards Mars, we settle with low Earth orbit and experiments on ISS
Shuttle had some cool achievements through all those years but still it's not Apollo
not to mention all the accidents

How do you perform Rendez-vous to ISS/Mir? Following checklist with MC1-4 burns or any shortcuts?

Ok, now, do you "kill rotation" of ISS (Better ISS to be exact) when approaching? Still having problems to get to docking position :(

No. ISS remains in its normal LVLH attitude until capture is sensed. Just follow the Rendezvous checklist and you will be fine.

It works, but that's the ' I'm too young to die ' level :p

Yeah, when doing a manual approach to the ISS, I find the approach somewhat difficult, constantly having to translate. If I go aboard and KILROT the ISS, the approach is much easier. Then the ISS resumes its natural motion slowly. But, rendezvous MFD does a nice job of it.

Sleepy upd... I mean quick update!
Finally seeing the end of the avalanche of LC39 work, that came down the mountain when I touched the PCR: the GVA is fixed for now, and has some additions...

Also added some more stuff in the RBUS...

Started with what seemed like a simple feature (payload preview), and found myself buying a battle that I wanted to leave for later... but ended up with a base on which to improve the "appendages" of the pad main structures in the future, so it wasn't a loss.
In the process, I failed my initial release estimate (yesterday) from the beginning of this, but... Space Shuttle. 🤷‍♂️
A few more details to go, and then off to Vandenberg, hopefully with the work restricted to the PCR.
