Maybe you're the next greatest scam artist. (what an accomplishment) What I'm suggesting is that you predict a specific outcome in the future near and far, and then tally how well you do.


Hmmm, let's see. I'm going to predict that Barack Obama will be the next President. (not that I give a crap about politics) and lets see something a little closer....I predict the price of gas will reach $5.00 a gallon for regular unleaded by the end of June in San Diego, CA. (currently at $3.50) So let's see if you are the ALL SEEING EYE:)!
 
I predict that solid evidence for the previous or present existence of microbial life on Mars will be discovered and widely accepted by 2020.

And that tension will arise between the superpowers of this world as oil deposits that had previously been buried at the poles become harvestable as global warming melts the ice that covered them.
 
I predict I will die by 2150 ;)

Hmm .. I will venture to predict something far closer. I feel that between 2010 and 2015 private spaceflight will take off on a really massive scale. Something similar to the early airline industry.
 
I predicit that other than a recession, the global economy is heading for a long term depression.
 
I predict that Zimbabwe will get a new President.

And that the Olympic games in China will be either the end of the appeasement politics of western democracies - or the end of the IOC.

I predict the Star Trek series, Enterprise will end early. The USA will invade Iraq and there will only be one Shuttle Launch in 2005.


Ooops, sorry, this was my 2002 list. :)

OK, 2008 list,

Jupiter will not ignite in 2010. Global warming will not be as popular an issue. McCain will be elected President of the USA and forget why we are in Iraq because Iraq and Iran are spelled so similarly. The USA and Russia will find oil at the north pole without the help of Santa Claus.
 
I predict less than 40% of the US will turn out for the next federal elections. I also predict that Obama will have the votes to get the nomination, but the DNC will nix it and nominate Clinton anyway.

The WILL NOT lead to revolution, but result in lots of sarcasm on late night talk shows.

But I read that she will only be back for a few episodes, so I predict I will be sad again when she leaves.

BTW, when I first saw this thread title I thought at first it was about Altea Aerospace... :lol:
 
Beijing Olympics get canceled. Something awesome happens at CERN when the LHC fires up.
