Why can't we just settle our differences in battle:

Launch video from KCTV, with onboard footage!

Wow, I've never heard such enthusiasm in a launch announcement. Clearly a great achievement and source of pride for a country like the DPRK.

Soo many people in the LCC for such a small rocket? Do they fight unemployment that way?

A third of them are there to watch the rocket, a third to watch the people launching the rocket, and the other third are there to watch the people who watch the people who launch the rocket.

(I think we have the beginnings of a music video...)

100 Korean generals marching down the street....

I obviously don't understand a single word that lady is saying, but that just sounds like over the top enthusiasm. I'm too laid back for that kind of tone/excitement. Anyways, if it was truly a peaceful launch to help with weather predictions of whatever, then good for them. Too bad it sounds like it was a dud and is now just a very expensive piece of tumbling junk (effectively).

Also, HD anyone? I was surprised they didn't record and/or broadcast in HD. Or maybe they did, but just didn't release the "good" footage to the outside world.

I dunno. Random Thursday morning ramblings.

I strongly doubt more people than hardly nobody inside NK has seen the broadcast. Not many have the equipment for that.

Agreed. But after spending all that money on a rocket, at least film the launch with a GoPro haha. Then again, the DPRK has never really had their financial priorities quite right anyways.

They must have launched 10 or more rockets there..
I like the mission control centre.. looks like a big thing - the rocket looked a bit out of control though... it's plume was all over the place..;)
:)

Like a bundle of bottle rockets tied together with fins? Attempted it. Never reached orbit but it sure did fly like it had been hitting the sauce pretty hard before fuse ignition.
