Humor Random Comments Thread

Today is such a day for me. Might as well have stayed in bed. It should be impossible to feel so sleepy.

Same here. But I know why I am so sleepy. I have become uncle over the weekend with a dramatic final late on Monday night, and all my extended family freaked out this night. :hailprobe:

More random thoughts at work:

If captain Picard was a developer, what would he order on encountering a dangerous situation?

"Vagrant up!"

Well, I'd rather hold off on the minstrels for a while (need them to play my theme songs), but I could offer up the names of a few managers ;)

How was that joke about the cannibal interns at Microsoft... "OK, guys, we have been feeding well for months on consultants, managers and web designers. Nobody noticed it. But who of you had to eat the cleaning woman?"

Trump demanding Bruce Springsteen prove he was born in the USA..

Sorry about that.

Um, no. This forum really needs a "no thanks" button.

I was raised in and around New Jersey and force-fed this guy's awful music into my teen years at which time I promptly escaped to the Los Angeles underground. Today, still wanted by the government, I survive as a soldier of fortune. If you have a problem, if no one else can help, and if you can find me, maybe you can hire...

...sorry, got a little side-tracked there...where was I?

Oh, that's right, I don't like Bruce Springsteen.

Excellent! I like his stadium rock stuff, sort of early Dire Straits.

Sad case, waiting for CIV VI to unlock, Steam is so cruel

Edit, A countdown, 1 and a half hours to go, strange thought I'd already downloaded it?

Not sure about this at all, chap in intro walks along a statues arm and sets fire to 100 gallons of
flammable liquid. Lucky not to get blown off, never mind fell off! He's the clever one?

You valiant sacrifices to keep the management gods at bay haven't gone unnoticed.

Let us pray.

Oh Great Probe, we humbly beseech thee: Bless us our deeds and deliver us from the scrutiny of the false deities of Management.

In thy name we humbly pray. Amen.

:hailprobe: indeed.

I suspect there may be a lot of us in the U.S. doing that in a few weeks for the sanity of our nation...

The game review on Spiegel Online alone took 150 hours and six games... looks like it is good. A strong sign of the "Only one last turn"-syndrome.

Big fun is... all people think the song celebrates the USA, but actually, the lyrics are opposite. Its really funny when especially the Republican party tries to use the song for their election campaigns.

The best New Jersey song by Springsteen is "Atlantic City" anyway. :P
