Humor Random Comments Thread

It's mesmerizing to watch... you're desperately looking for the one clue that would give it away as the fake it just has to be, but you're not finding it. The reflection checks out, the lighting checks out, the hind legs are even in a position that would make the maneuver possible at that moment... The only thing missing is a reason for a cat to do something so randomly self-destructive

Not sure, it is the first time I see a cat jumping astern up first, usually they are skilled enough to keep balance during jumping, it rather looks like somebody picked the cat up.

Even when you power up the vacuum cleaner, I have not yet seen such a jump - but the evidence that some things can indeed travel faster than light.

The unexptectedly-placed zucchini would explain it: imagine looking behind you and seeing something like a giant monster-like snake. :hide:

I love this thread. Especially since I can't follow it in real time. I log in at the end of a long day to see how things develop...

Checking OF Random Comments...in! Last post, just so.. "Hi guys! What are you up....wait, what?"

I shall be henceforth known as The Unexpectedly-placed Zucchini.

"Where did that come from?"

Thanks for keeping my brain well-rounded.

Now that you mention it, I realise that it indeed jumps the moment it sees the zuchini. I hadn't noticed that.

Exactly how unexpectedly placed?

The kiddo's cat did a matrix-move the other day. All I did was move my foot, but he jumped backwards about three feet performing a mid-air 180 and ran at ludicrous speed down the hallway.

All in all a very solid 9.95 score from the judges.

Parkour!

Remember, remember!
The fifth of November,
The Gunpowder treason and plot;
I know of no reason
Why the Gunpowder treason
Should ever be forgot!
Guy Fawkes and his companions
Did the scheme contrive,
To blow the King and Parliament
All up alive.
Threescore barrels, laid below,
To prove old England's overthrow.
But, by God's providence, him they catch,
With a dark lantern, lighting a match!
A stick and a stake
For King James's sake!
If you won't give me one,
I'll take two,
The better for me,
And the worse for you.
A rope, a rope, to hang the Pope,
A penn'orth of cheese to choke him,
A pint of beer to wash it down,
And a jolly good fire to burn him.
Holloa, boys! holloa, boys! make the bells ring!
Holloa, boys! holloa boys! God save the King!
Hip, hip, hooor-r-r-ray!

It would seem that while not actually against the rules, getting a group together and doing the Electric Slide on the turbine room floor is "officially" frowned upon by management.

It my belief that at least half of them secretly thought it was fun and would have joined in if they weren't managers.

It's a goofy line dance. If you saw the movie The Replacements, Orlando Jones gets the whole team dancing in the jail to "I will survive".

Looks much better in that style:

Special-colors Typhoons are always neat:

Not to forget this one, even if its more celebrative than a "re-make" of a livery used operationally in the past:
