I think the Orbiter community mostly consists of adults, right? Do we have any astronauts in the community or anybody that has actually flown in space for tourism?
Not that I know of. I think we've got a few people that work/have worked in the aerospace field. No astronauts though.
I highly doubt itI think the Orbiter community mostly consists of adults, right? Do we have any astronauts in the community or anybody that has actually flown in space for tourism?
I'm flying through space right now. Quite fast relatively!
I believe the question was asked years ago (might have been M6) and the response was that although there may be real astronauts around the forums, they'd likely not announce it so they wouldn't be mobbed by people asking questions and such.
I'm an astronaut... really, I just haven't been hired as one yet![]()
Fame is only fun for someone who never had too much of it.If I were a real astronaut, I wouldn't mind it. It'd be nice to answer questions for other space interested people.

Knowing this forum's users and attention some of them are paying to details, imagine 100 qustions a day about every single bolt of space hardware, next 100 about detailed procedures during flight and around 200 general spaceflight questions.
If we had a real astronaut, he/she would need to create dedicated office to handle O-F![]()
