Well, another issue is, even if you had a mirror that was perfect, many weaponized laser concepts involve lasers that, rather than firing a continuous beam, fire short pulses at intensities high enough that properties like reflectivity and transparency no longer apply and any solid or liquid absorbs the pulse completely and explodes. Since we did a thoroughly awesome job of beating down the schedule early in the week, our shop was left with nothing to work on tonight. There was potentially some operations support, but it didn't go through.
So. The 'Cruiser cook breakfast instead. On the menu was bacon, beef sausage patties, biscuits, eggs and hash browns. (in best Homer Simpson voice) Mmmmmmm, Baaaaconn.

I just saw the trailer for "Agents of SHIELD". Might be too awesome for network TV (then again in might blow chunks). Joss Whedon is the "creator", and look what they did to Firefly.
But Firefly was different.

I'm hopeful they realize what they have this time and don't make the same mistake. It looks to be an awesome, awesome show.

It is really annoying how bad some managers treat good shows, that they developed. Firefly was cancelled after being aired out of order and at varying times.
"Der Tatortreiniger", a German price awarded comedy series, has only few episodes and those episodes are only shown around or after midnight... despite the public screening in selected cinemas of the new episodes last Monday being a great success.
