Hi all,

I have recently obtained (with permission ) a Nauka mesh that i will develop into a module over the next month and release to Orbit Hangar when it is finished.

Nice mesh here:

My mesh is in .lwo format. Does anyone know how to get it to .msh? I tried Wings 3D 1.4.1 and Hielor's .msh plugin but that ended in a CTD. Can anyone suggest another program?

I use Blender (version 2-49b) and export to 3ds then use an8 to texture and then export to Orbiter Msh. If any normals are weird, usually Blender will correct them. What size is your Lightwave file and also what date is the file (mouse over it and it should tell you ) If its 1999 or 2000 or possibly 2001 it will be Lightwave 5 which means it will be 1 complete mesh, ie you can,t separate it. Any later and you should be fine.

It was created in 2006 if that helps. :)

This is great! Finally the piece that completes the ISS.

As you can see in the mesh there is the European Robotic Arm (ERA). This will not be included in the final model.

Mesh converted to .3ds now and partially textured:

Also with ERA removed, You will have to use URMS.

Why no ERA? It is one of the few things I am still missing at the ISS...

Because it would be hard to code. Cant you use URMS?

Mesh textured, just needs some final touches:

Anyone know how to convert .an8 to .msh?
