It seems LOLA-MFD is not compatible with Orbiter 2010.
What needs to be done to make it compatible ?

Part of the problem is that it only just worked in O2006.
As far as I know the source code of an early beta is available on OH.

Basically it would need to be recomplied at a minimum and also finished and tested.

Recompiling the source code under VC++ 2008 or 2010 may work... but of course, all we have is the source of an early beta.

Would that be the original Lola, or the "fixed" version?

I'd rather see LANDMFD adapted for 2010, myself. It worked great with the DGIV.

Lola stands for launch AND land.

Actually, wouldn't that be Launch OR Land? :)

Anyway, I've used Lola and I like it for rendezvous and suborbital flights, but I prefer LANDMFD for PDI style landings with the DGIV. I seem to have better luck with it.

What's the problem with LOLA MFD and LandMFD ?

They don't work in Orbiter 2010.
Yes, I can understand that. Does it crash the Orbiter ? Dislay false readings ? Is the autopilot out of order or what ?

You can select the module but there is no display on the MFD.
The MFD buttons are all there but the mFD screen itself is a blank black squarre.

No CTD however..............

I usually just used Lola MFD for rendezvous with other spacecraft.

Yoda, I still ask; are you using the original Lola or the "fixed" version?

Hi, someone compiled for orbiter 2010 the fabulous addons and magnificent LOLA MFD original by LazyD ?
Lola improves the interface, supports tailsitters.
Would be appreciated.
