Asteroids and Planetoids that seems to be fine...

Here is a list of the 060929 version asteroids and planetoids that work without complaint. I've not checked their orbital info against any known databases, so I'm not vouching for orbital accuracy or any such thing.

After I backup my current install of O2010, I'll try the outer planets add-ons reposted by [ame="http://www.orbithangar.com/searchid.php?ID=3980"]escapetomsfate[/ame] and post my results. It uses several .dll files and looks like it will over-write several textures so I'm cautious to recommend it at this point. I'll post with the results soon.

Cheers,
Timex

I seem to recal David413 did a AutoFCS for the default Atlantis. Could be useful.

This should be a sticky, and to make it easy to use - somehow put it in a database format. searching through 500+ posts is still doable, but...

I believe the staff are keeping an eye on the thread and have a solution in mind for when navigating it becomes difficult.

Like I said, the future of the thread is not really something we need be concerned about here.

How about something like the recommended addons page for this?

This is what Tex said at the Recommended add-ons page:

I see we have a thread created by members in the Addon forum listing addons they've found to work with Orbiter 2010. We'll give it a little time to ensure we get an accurate list of working addons before we update the recommended addons page. We'll probably split the page in two parts, one recommended addons for Orbiter 2010 and the other for Orbiter 2006-P1.

Wrong. I have done no such thing. I have suggested I might try working the default Atlantis code and then experiment with AutoFCS. Might. But I do NOT have the source code for AutoFCS, so I cannot do any work on it.

While trying to replicate this I've had a CTD and a DX allocate error. >.>

I've had that too. Waiting 30 seconds or so seems to fix it. It appears that DX takes a little longer to deallocate than the orbiter close down screen suggests.

Anybody know if WIN works?

Wideawake works as does Overton but there is a slightly strange visual/texture oddity if you go inside the mountain at Overton. It's not a major issue though.

One strange thing was the DG landing at Wideawake scenario. When I launched it wideawake was behind the DG. not a big deal but for a moment I did wonder if the addon had worked.

Pégase Crew Transportation Vehicle works well.

But the Ariane V launcher relies on multistage2.dll (which has problems with O. 2010).

Solution : use it on orbit, or launch it atop some Velcro launcher, AtlasV 502 works very well for LEO !

Hmm, also doesn't work for me. Have you tried to load a saved scenario with UMMUs aboard Deltaglider? Thats where I have the problems.

---------- Post added at 19:01 ---------- Previous post was at 18:39 ----------

Ok, bug seems to be unrelated to Orbiter 2010. It looks like UMMUFA doesn't like an empty "Vessel_x_mmu_x_ID = " line

Upthread I noted that this addon works great with brianj's stage.dll fix (which can be found on these forums)
