Nice mission, one of those low profile "jobbing" probes, that just gets on with it. Looks like the low temperature got it in the end, ironic, as it spent a lot of time looking at the Sun.

Despite somebody having said "RIP Ulysses" about a year-and-half ago, the official termination of the mission will happen shortly, on June, 30. The telemetry sending stop command will be transmitted on board. After its almost 19 years of service and some major scientific discoveries done, Ulysses will set the record for the most long running ESA probe (more precisely, it was a joint NASA&ESA mission). The event will be covered in the mission blog.

I normally use "Heavens-Above" to see where satellites are, however, I can't get much for Ulysses on it.
