China fears unemployment

Well, yes; millions of workers have moved to the cities over the last few years to make money, and if they're suddenly laid off with no other way to earn enough to eat, that's an awful lot of potential for crime and violence.

If I was the Chinese government I'd be scared stiff too.

The biggest problem for the workers is the lack of any work ethics in the management or the communist party. I have already heard of cases, where the managers of a factory just suddenly disappeared and left the workers to their fate.

Specially when you can count them by the thousands... or even millions...
How about a protest with a few million people on the streets? :(

The people still remember the last protest on the streets.
