Hangar S Layout 1962.jpg

1962 layout of Hangar S, Cape Canaveral Space Force Station industrial area. That hangar probably was one of the most exciting playgrounds for scientists, engineers, and test pilots at NASA back then, or probably even in the world. So much stuff in just one building, even including the real capsules in a white room. Astronaut crew quarters is on the left, 2nd floor ("lounge")...

Hello AstroSammy, Can you provide me with the Source of your GET2 addon you did back in the day for Orbiter and Google Earth please ? My Discord username is 1997xf11
Thank You
Hi Buck,

Hope you are are keeping well..

With regards to our conversation about Lunar Base Aurora, I tried your suggestion and downloaded micro textures and it seemed to make a vast improvement....the only problem I can see now is part of the blue solar panels are not showing....any idea what this could be causing this?

It's an elevation issue, you need the high detail elev.tree and a .flt file etc.
But it 's not looking too bad, you could try adjusting the height in the w-aurora.cfg the first 3 objects have already been raised a little, try raising the first one from 0.02 up to 0.04 but at some point the base will "float", maybe you can find a comprimise

OK thanks for the advice Buck...I'll try that...when you say the first 3 objects...which ones are you referring to?...(sorry for the silly questions)

no problem, open the w-aurora.cfg in notepad (file location is orbiter2016/config/moon/base), look for the title "begin objectlist", the first object has a POS of 0 0.02 0, change the 0.02 to something higher till the panels are free
I'm excited about the military skins but for the life of me I can't get them to work. Where do I install them? Do I put 'SKIN [name] " in every every scenario? I know I'm missing something.
Good day dbeachy1, On 29th Jan made a small donation through paypal to Orbiter. Am I correct in assuming as it went through paypal it is that annoying mouse or anonymous. The other point is I have recently run into the OOps problem again , I have not been able to download last three things i tried for.

Hello! Yes, we did see your donation go through, thank you! There is usually a delay before the donation shows up in the donation info, because donations need to be manually approved for now.

Regarding your download question, please post the details about what you are trying to download in the thread you created about it here.
I like the idea you did with Artemis 8 but you might put the fuel tanks in the trunk and the cupala in the nose for a heck of a view of earth rise. I worked for Space X for awhile and right next to my office was the parts for the Lunar Dragon I was hopeing to see that fly. You might look at the Dark Matter addon for cargo ideas for this Lander and the LTV for a rover.
I have been working some with gattis on the LM lander and thanks for what you have added . I think the orbit should be from east to west or a polar orbit but still great to see it fly. Still a lot to do on it yet a VC and it seems in 3rd person you are looking out the back door as well as needs cargo and a rover but that will come in time
Coming soon...

First, surfaces are different of panels! This is so much important! The background surface (2048^2) can be bigger than the panel (1920*540). Thus, if you want to make a button in the top-right corner, by using oapiBlt, you MUST put an offset !!!

Second, the majority of instruments are not made by using oapiBlt, Bitblt, or GDI painting functions, but by coding a "dynamic mesh" and bind it to the background mesh. Today, I cannot tell the detailed procedure, though. You can do it by using mutliple scripts, like in most projects, but I was able, and I prefer doing so in the main script.

I hope it helps.
