This thread is dedicated for VSA's. Tell us the name of your VSA, what goals it has, what kind of missions it supports, maybe some screenshots and some logo's.

My VSA is called Dutch Space Agency. It's still new (founded a couple of days ago) and it's main missions right now will be the development and deployment of satellites. This is the my second VSA, the first one being HASA, which ended 2 years ago.

As I said before, the main goals of DSA is the development and deployment of satellites. There are contracts with Astrium, Boeing and Orbital. There are also other contracts that are still being evaluated.

The first launch for DSA is set for a couple of weeks. It will be the deployment of a small imaging satellite, open to the public. They can upload coordinates to be imaged and they will receive the image ones it is taken.

So, what VSA do you have and what is it doing?

I've had the fictional corporation 'Cavradyne Aerospace,' but it's been more of a plot device in scenarios than an actual VSA I've adhered to.

(It's named after the 'Cavradyne' engines in 2001: A Space Odyssey.')

There's also been the Copernicus Laboratory on the Moon, which has been central to most of the research mission scenarios I've done.

When I have time for it, my VSA is the International Space Agency.

Bankrolled by some 'mysterious' backers think of us as SpaceX but with a couple of Mediterranean islands for bases so more a cross between Elon Musk and a James Bond Baddie....

ISA will ship anything anywhere. We do LEO, GEO, Atmospheric, Cargo, etc. Got something you want moving from A to B? call us

I fly missions under the Civil Space Authority: CSA. It's nothing more than a different name for real/near real-tech missions I fly. I built my original Jump Station back in 2007 (6 YEARS!?!?!?) and have been stuck in a development cycle developing everything that doesn't already exist as an addon that I need to redo it. Namely the Solar Service Module, Prometheus LV, and upcoming truss system.

I run HASSESA.

Our goal is space exploration and research ad very high altitudes.

Currently working on getting the XR-2 Ravenstar certified for regular missions.

H-10-K Enterprises, I've designed the next generation Space Station, Gateway Station My Registered trade mark is attached. Been using it for 25 years now. My mission is to complete the designs and pitch it to a few other agencies and gain feedback on my design. Sell it to the world, then make it happen using real and near tech. I'll live to see it completed and in use for around 30-40 years. It will be the launching platform for Mars missions and other BEO interests.

I think most of you are familiar with mine;)
Real Time Incorporated is a VSA dedicated to conducting LEO, translunar, and interplanetary missions. We have several projects currently on the drawing board:
The Collins Lunar Station and Armstrong Field, to be built by the end of this year...
The Iron Hill Project, which now is getting ready to return it's second crew to Earth after a three-month stay on Mercury...
And the Deep Six project--currently the only planned mission to the outer Solar System:)

Unfortunately, my character died in our last launch, so I'm no longer heading up the company. But I know Sorindafabico will make a steady hand at the helm;)

Hmm, let's just call it EDSA (actually, that is the ICAO code for my base, ED stands for a civilian airport in Germany, S for Spaceport and A for Alpha).

The HQ building (source) with control tower.

My poor hometown has been replaced with grass :P.

The giant arrow assemby building.

And the fleet (XR-1 coming soon):

The next big mission is a manned flyby of comet ISON, but right now the DG-IV is testing a new ground handling system.

(this will certainly be released one day, right now I just have a MFD, I still have to write the code to actually move a vessel)

That'd be an "open" VSA, and they've had more failures than successes. Face had a really good post as to why most of them fail.

"Private" VSA's have the benefit of one person managing the flight schedule, load-out and mission parameters without having to find pilots that might have been available weeks ago, but are now on vacation/sick/in school or otherwise unavailable.

Of the three OFSS missions, I had the pleasure to assist with OFSS-II. It was rough, and I was only an assistant. The mission to Mars (OFMM-Lite) went pretty well, there were (I think) 12 missions, so it went fast enough for the team to stay involved.

The "Iron Hill Gang" seem to be having success with their missions, that thread is worth checking out.

I've got a station-in-the-works. I'll consider releasing it as a set of missions, but only after the entire station has been completed (and only once I'm satified with the entire process).

For my own VSA, you dudes who don't already know about Phantom manufacturing, will have to check my blog. Way too much to write here in the thread.

My VSA is set on the goal of sending the first boots on Mars. Right now the goal is late 2037, and I am right on target for the moment. My VSA just entered the year 2032, so I am getting close.

I utilize a mix of vehicles as part of a joint international effort between the United States, Canada, Europe plays a small and almost useless part at this point, and Japan.

I have a space station in LEO where I am constructing my martian vehicle, I have a presence on the lunar surface. Primary vehicle is a heavily modified XR-2 that requires a shuttle like stack to get into orbit. Currently on my 105th flight of those. I run 3 STS shuttle flights a sim year for various tasks in LEO. And I use the Antares SR for crew to the space station.
