When you spent the most of your free ( and stolen ) time from the last six months developing a MFD and despite not a single net soul cares to give you even just one 'OK it's working for me' betatesting reply you still spend the whole World Cup, which is happening in your country, gloriously trying to find out how to convert a global referenced vector into a camera view oriented frame.
Remembered another one:
You REALLY think that dividing the movements you do when parking your car between 'translation' and 'rotation' sometimes saying the words at every change, ACTUALLY helps you on performing the task better and easier.
...when you cancel your plans to confirm that OF Maintanence work is completed on time.
...you simulate airlock decompression before exiting your car.
...orbiter physics has convinced you that you can walk on both water and land.
...you have an urge to change the image quality from 5-14 when walking outside with no glasses.
when you have to use TeamViewer at work to remotly play with Orbiter at home ....
and when you always hear "undocking confirmed" no matter what you divides
Sometimes when I'm taking off in the XR-5, I just kind of loosely monitor the instruments, while letting the roar of the engines surround me and watching the sky get dark. It feels, just for a bit, like the old girl is flying herself
....when taking an exit from the highway you go though the flyover feeling as if you were aligning planes with the coming road and then you start speeding at the node.
When you pretend your pontoon boat is Atlantis, and you are at a rendezvous with ISS at the "dock". Escpecially against the current, I find it quite fun to parallel dock !
When you have this conversation:
Me: [tells mother about latest Orbiter adventure]
Mom: "You really need a girlfriend."
Me: "I already have a girlfriend. Her name is Orbiter. She's kind of a snooze in bed, but we have loads in common!"
when you narrate to yourself, out loud, in real time exactly what you're doing in Orbiter at that moment to see if it would sound interesting to someone else.
