When XR5 is landed Earth and external cooling is on if you switching control focus on another ship or if you scrolling camera distance very far from XR5 the external cooling automaticaly disables.

This bug appears only in XR5 and not in other XR ships.

This bug can be reproduced with all plugins disabled (except OrbiterSound).
 
Yes, I get this sometimes also.

If you have a scenario where external cooling is on, sometimes when you exit & go to re-load the scenario it has turned itself off.
 
XR5 External Cooling Bug Variant

Using XR5 Vanguard v1.2 on Orbiter v060929, clean install (just Orbiter Sound and UMMU).

Turn on external cooling while docked (ISS, Mir). Save the scenario.

The saved scenario CTDs every time during loading.
Delete " EXTCOOLING_STATUS 1" from the scenario and it should load OK.

Below is a sample scenario, the Vanguard is docked to ISS with external cooling turned on.
