XR1 Skin Work in progress

I'm trying to develop some 'weathering' techniques for my skins so they all don't look factory fresh. I read Coolhand's suggestions in another thread and have started toying with this design. Comments are welcome and appreciated.

it's not a bad start, you should make your streaks look... streakier. they're a bit soft and fuzzy at the moment, make them taper more and depending on how dirty you want it to look, make them fainter. also get some more variation in your white base coat, slightly yellow off white, some grey, off white blue, should help with that starwarsy look.. keep it subtle though.

Rebel Alliance, Never saw that one coming! I Like it. It really says X-Wing! They really do look weathered and aged in the games and movies. I'd call it, XR-Wing!
