I Figure the best thing to do is show you my problem. When in windowed mode, I don't have this problem. Any Ideas?

Solved: Changed color depth to 32 from 16

Is it only with the DG-IV or with other add-ons too?
Have you updated your graphics card?
Is Orbiter the only program that has this problem?
Have you tried another graphics client?

I got the same problem a year ago, I think it also was on XR1, 2 and 5 (but I can't remember for sure...) I think it has something to do with the "twisted" display. I think I re-installed Orbiter, and then it worked nice again. I guess that I had downloaded too much add-ons, so that everything just bugged out.

This is a fresh install, and the first time I have ever installed on this computer.

With Orbiter 2010 you can download different graphics clients. See:

You can try one of these to see if it works with Orbiter. BUT since the problem is only happening with the DG-IV, you can only try the D3D11 client because the other one is not compatible with the DG-IV

What graphics card do you have?

Is color depth set to 16bpp or 32bpp? If it's 16bpp, switch it to 32bpp (video tab). By the way check if your graphics card model is listed and selected as the used renderer.
