Which would mean that the shuttle was produced before the Apollo program. Which it wasn't.

Therefore as time slows down as you reach the speed of light, The shuttle must travel faster than the speed of light.

Which means that CNN is right about the shuttle travelling faster than light.

i only have data about the skylab computer and it's IOP, which are also System/360 based, but have a different behavior as the Shuttle computers.

That's interesting, I didn't know that about the Skylab computer. Is this data publicly available somewhere?

I can prepare you a list of the NASA report codes I had found about it's development. I don't know if it had flown like the early designs, but the reported capabilities of the computer fit to the design architecture.

Please go ahead! I just checked our "documentation storages" (mainly http://nassp.sf.net/wiki/Future_Expansion maintained by Graham2001) and it looks like we don't have anything like that. Perhaps some of these reports are available at NTRS for download?

Wow, shuttle fleet is really going!

Well, I can't find the scenario, I don't get how Orbdiagnostic works, and now I can't even open the file! When I try to open the launchpad file, it says there are no files to extract! What happened?!

Voted for Default shuttle, as when I only had 1GB of RAM on my system, it would run nice and smoothly, but I couldnt enjoy Shuttle Fleet because my low RAM, it would chugalug constantly. But I have upgraded to 3GB of RAM now, and it runs pretty good.. Love havin a chute to slow down with sometimes =p

The anticipation I feel for SSU V1.25 is equivalent to the anticipation I felt for Star Wars Episode I. Although this time, I doubt it strongly that I will be disappointing.

But I am awaiting the next release of SSU... hopefully it will be able to use the Shuttle fleet "environment" to fly... that would be truly amazing. But for timing and flight path shuttle fleet is a good teaching plataform to latter get into the inner-workings of the shuttle..

I've always used Shuttle Fleet without any problem, but since I prefer to use the XR series, my opinion doesn't really count.
