General Question Which ISS/STS add-ons do you recommend?

yes sir i did. and theres no installation instructions in them. i looked through them. but it just told about what the versions are and whats been updated.

Usually, it is enough to unzip the contents into the Orbiter Folder, preserving the folder structure inside the ZIP. Sometimes, you need other add-ons.

yeah if i undewrstand right you have to unzip it directly from the rar file to orbiter. cause i have ummu 2.0 and orbiter sound so i don't see what the problem is.

Did you check if the add-on is compatible to Orbiter 2010? SSU 1.25 is not completely, it crashes. A new fixed version is in the making.

yes sir i did. umm i found another space shuttle ultra thats not v1._25. the other one i found is version 1.05

ok. so how do i find out out whats missing? and where can i get whats missing? cause i got thie misc missions to work. but none of the sts missions or the progress missions work.

According to the log file you are missing a file called shuttle.cfg

Why not try installing SSU into a totally FRESH install of orbiter 2010 and try again?

i did and got the same results. i got space shuttle ultra working cause im in the atlantis's cockpit right now.

ISS v3.2 user manual clearly explains what addons and in which order should be installed to provide work of all scenarios.

i do have the addons and it's still saying the same thing. v.3.2 is the rar file thats the iss im talkin about just so we're all on the same page. :lol:

:facepalm: i think i know what i did wrong. HOUSTON we have a problem. my pdf reader was not showing the whole doc file for the iss v3.2. i don't have those add ons. maybe thats the problem?

so far sir i have just the proton launch vehicle v2.2. im still working on the others. then i will reinsatll iss v.3.2 i started over on orbiter after finally realizeing that the stuff it stated in the iss doc i did not have. :facepalm:

SSU does not use Shuttle.cfg. This should be related to ISS 3.2, AFAIR, there is a 2010 compatible patch already released for it.

yes sir. iss v.3.2 calls for shuttle fleet 4.5+ the service pack. im hoping that after doing all this then installing the space station will solve the problem

I believe it is related to Shuttle Fleet, but not to ISS. It looks like SF wasnt installed at all.

ok so right now as it stands im working on the sound expansion pack. after all this work does any one else expeirence trouble with iss 3.2?

now i have an erro starting error while initialising solar system solm:

The 'Shuttle' config and module are indeed part of Shuttle Fleet.

yeah i got all that. but i still can't do any of the sts missions. every time i try it shuts the simulation down. and i went accroding to the instillation doc file and got every thing befor installing iss v.3.2.
