Surprisingly that was'nt the Probe, I'm almost sure of that.

That was the primordial and chaotic state of the universe, back then... Maybe a surface base on a Jovian satellite ?

Well, here's the oldest on Orbithangar :

[ame="http://www.orbithangar.com/searchid.php?ID=1935"]X-33 Venture Star and Launch Complex[/ame]

But Vinka's spacecraft.dll was already existing...

The problem is that the first version of Orbiter has been long lost...

When I joined the orbiter community in 2003, there had been already hundreds of add-ons. Hard to tell what was really the first, but the Orbiter SDK did not exist before 2003.

Oh yes it did! I started my add-on dev works in the summer of 2002 and even then the OAPI was well developed.

I think 2003 was the first with the full API, my fault then.

The OAPI has always been in constant motion. The December 2002 was the first version that featured vessel-vessel docking capabilities which allowed both vessels to remain active after docking.

Prior to this, docking was only possible between vessels and a special "station" class of vessels that was 100% passive.

The April 19 2002 version saw implementation of 2D instrument panels as one of the major new OAPI features.

For a more complete change-list, please read the file Change.pdf in <orbiterroot>\Doc

You will find that one on avsim:

Apollo Soyuz (ASTP v1.999)

Filename: astp1.99.zip
License: Freeware
Added: 18th July 2002
Downloads: 3824
Author: Felipe Comparini (AKA Obi Wan)
Size: 160kb

But i think that i have some others from the same period ( simple bases...venus ? mars ? ) coming from the Voyager's Addon Site, actually closed.

I think it was a time acceleration control dialog plug-in, back in 2001 version.
No idea what was the first to be downloaded.

Bases v3.0, I'm assuming, is for Orbiter 010503. The question is, are there any addons for previous Orbiter versions? Besides the original (001127) version, I've heard of an 010331 version. Does anyone have any Orbiter install files for versions before 010503?

Here and now
Keep in mind that add-ons for "ancient" versions of Orbiter aren't going to work on any of the newer versions. You would need to have the version the add-on was designed for, and why would you want to use an ancient version of Orbiter that doesn't have most of the features (like docking, animations, add-on MFD's, etc) that make Orbiter so enjoyable?
