What languages do you speak?

Native English; basic French (speech and writing) and Japanese (speech only) but quite rusty in both.

My native is English. I have received classroom instruction in Latin and have received awards for two of the three years for the National Latin Exam (Maxima cum laude and Summa cum laude respectively).

My knowledge of Latin helps me understand some Italian and Spanish (I can hold small conversations), though somehow French has always eluded me.
