We don't get many infrastructure problems(not counting the railways)
Bit unusual this, old dam built in the 1830 to supply local canals has been damaged by heavy rain overtopping the spillways.

Quite dramatic pictures, and surprised the let the town expand so close to the dam.

Looks like it still isn't safe yet - tomorrow could bring lots of rain and the dam is still not stable.

Indeed, forecast looks like more rain this afternoon. More people evacuated yesterday, police allowing residents limited access to get essential items.
Water level has gone down a lot, still well above the damaged part of the spillway though.
