Crazy about real time sims
How about a 64 bit build of the core to allow access to more memory (> 4GB) for terrain data ? Apparently the x86 version of Visual Studio 2012 allows building 32 bit and 64 bit applications.

Has this been considered yet ? Most desktops have moved to 64 bit operating systems now.
Perhaps a 64 bit version of the core can be released for those interested in experimenting with terrain but do not need all the addons right away ?
