More important, despite its flag, the ship is actually a German merchant ship, the owner is one of those sweaters, that use the flag laws for cutting on taxes and salaries, but call for the German Navy if a Pirate hijacks their ship. Something like "It is the duty of the German Navy to protect German ships, even if they are actually not that German anymore and we didn't pay much taxes for our ships for decades."
