One of those arty 'short films' from YouTube

[ame="https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=uo-JFfsn-PM"]Sci-Fi Short Film "Anomaly" presented by DUST - YouTube[/ame]

It has a wonderful mish-mash of Mercury, Gemini & Apollo footage at the start, the spacecraft seems to be a cross between Mercury and Gemini (It's definitely a two seater...)

And the plot, well you tell me...

As it is the 20th where I am at the moment...

And a trailer to remind us of all the non-Americans who helped in one way or another get Apollo 11 to the moon...

First video of the real AGC performing a lunar landing with NASSP has surfaced:

Cassini's orbital insertion burn

Someone could consider it for use in Orbiter Sound. Recorded on Cassini's RPWS instrument.

It's been done in Kerbal...

...can Orbiter step up to the plate...

Maybe unrelated to spaceflight, but I am sure, some others here might like a good documentary about the fateful Fastnet Race of 1979, 40 years ago. Sadly in German, but includes interviews with participants of that race, that became the deadliest event in sailing history. Also some original footage.

An English language account of the Fastnet Race from 2006

Raising Steam: Naval Instructional Film A76 (1942)

Some cool gliding footage, recorded last week during the championships in Bosnia. These are some of the finest gliders currently available. These ships are loaded with 150L water ballast to increase the wing loading which increases the straight flight performance even further.

Never noticed that they could launch the F104 in such a way...
But it looks a bit dangerous.

A little something for those of us on the forum who grew up in the 1980s...
