VASO Development 13

Took a somewhat long break today before getting started with the website, but I wasn't completely unproductive. I made a page in OrbiterWiki about VASO, on the off chance that someone might find out about it there. It's pretty good, I think, and took a while to type. Feel free to edit it to make it sound better/add stuff I forgot, but don't make things up about it.

As for the website, I'm still doing internal work on it, but its okay so far. I'm planning on getting the Missions page started after I post this, but I ran into a problem with image uploads, so that needs to be fixed. I have yet to change those cheesy pictures on the banner at the top, but I still need screenshots. I skimmed through the screenshot thread, and contacted a few people, but none have gotten back. If you still want to recommend and/or submit one, post in comments please :thumbup:..

Alew95 once again did some amazing work, and made XR2 skins. Pics below.

I really like that skin! And your OFMM signature has a great shot of an XR2 approaching Mars, you are capable of making your own shots. Go for it! Godspeed,

i made the xr2 xr5 and the shuttle in the same greyish orange sceme it looks great in the xr5 but im not sure i like the shuttle i will send you it when i finish the delta glider

I like the skin Couple of quick thoughts on it though: Will the "XR2" bit be replaced with the specific ship's name? I mean, you don't see real life aircraft with "Boeing 747" scribbled on the side, so it seems a little out of place to have the spaceplane's model written on it... no?

@ shinrar just to be accurate there is Boeing 747 on the nose but your right its not that big though

all the paints as far as im aware of doing are done i sent them to fireballs for comfermation

Hey fireballs, shouldn't you add other classes for leaving orbit and heading to planetary bodies and so on.

I think interplanetary missions are a little much for the VSA considering that it is not even open yet. Let's start out with LEO ISS stuff and possibly Lunar activities, but lets get the VSA on a solid infrastructure before we start bigger stuff. Things can always be added.

Thats what i was planning anyway. I don't see VASO going past the moon any time soon.
