I have been using, among other things, Dan's quite excellent UMMU and Artlav's displacement booths. I originally downloaded both of them before the UMMU 2.0 upgrade, and I recently downloaded the updated versions of UMMU/UCGO and the booths.
The problem is that I am running Windows Vista and when I try to extract the zip file with the updated booths, I can't overwrite the dlls. It gives me the code "0x80004005" which, after having looked it up, means I can't overwrite it due to permissions problems and/or dll registration problems.
However, not only is the Orbiter installation not in the Program Files folder, UAC is off, I changed the folder to read-only and left the options dialog open, and it still not not work. I even activated the hidden Administrator account and temporarily logged in as it to extract the zip file. That didn't work either. Does anyone know a way to circumvent this?
EDIT: Silly me. For some reason, it worked fine when I deleted the old one instead of letting the zip file overwrite it.
