I'm making some generic UMMU mobile characters from Dan Steph's UCGO/UMMU add-ons, and have some questions! Have two ways at the moment of doing this.
I made a waypoint path using an AI car from UCGO, then made a new vehicle using the MeshNull.msh in the UniversalCars/bin directory.
That worked, it gave an invisible vehicle that would load a crew member and follow the waypoints. Unfortunately the crew memeber is invisible... Is this normal? I haven't much expeience yet with UCGO/UMMU, and if it is I'll abandon that.
Second method is bit more clunky, just copy a default vehicle, and change the mesh. This is a video:

Looks a bit odd, but if the characters are on an escalator/moving walkway, or inside a building or behind a low wall/hedge, I might get away with it.
Anyway, just to repeat the question, is it normal for crew to dissapear when they enter vehicles?
All input appreciated.
