Request UMMU Compatible Helicopter?

Why not reverse it, have the animation state control the airlock state? For example,
(pseudocode)
Code:
IF(door_open_animation_value = 1.0) 
THEN
crew.setairlockdoorstate(TRUE)
ELSE
crew.setairlockdoorstate(FALSE)
END IF


Honestly not sure if you could have an airlock's state be open but not active, I've never tried it.

Why does it matter. If you open the airlock then have the animation open the door. It is easier to select airlock and D opens airlock and selected animated door. I guess you can only have one airlock open.. So you can't have more than 1 door open. On the Nh90 the ramp is a separate command than a airlock


OK on the disc. I'm not sure if you can have a front and a front on both sides. If so how?

I got 2 meshes for the bell222

new disc and dll

Do you think it would be possible to add one more helicopter your list?

A UAV helicopter - it wouldn't need to handle cargo or UMMU's - it would just be a mesh with the standard helicopter characteristics.

No, I have nothing other than the idea unfortunately. The whole idea of it is just to be a hovering camera platform for launches, landings and the like.

I think using UCD? you could add a camera vessel to any of the copters
 
Not sure if weapons would really be needed or could even kill the fun of it...the weapons of Airwolf had been...well... magical.
 
what about the weapons. the 2 machine guns on the side?

Would be nice if they was extensible like in TV show however IMHO they're not mandatory. I'd use the helicopter as:

1. Camera base for launches/splashdowns
2. UMMU ferry

I think I can add the side machine guns to the fins. I know there is a module in the works for Orbiter combat so I guess someone could add a cfg to fire the guns.

It didn't look it had a winch.

Since used for Ummu's should I leave the passenger compartment the way it is. It just has 4 seats for passengers.
