So I've been interested in Orbiter for a very long time, and have recently decided to start an account. I come here from the far lands of Kerbal Space Program for more realism, space shuttles, and to see if anyone gives a damn.

Welcome to the forums :welcome:

There are a few Kerbal -> Orbiter crossover members here. And if you hunt around, there might be some familiar names across both forums.

Orbiter is very good esp the new beta. Lots of the skills in Kerbal are transferable to Orbiter.

I do agree. KSP is the reason why I even manage to play Orbiter, though the realistic HUDs, etc make it more difficult.

1. I played KSP with a mod called Realism Overhaul. It makes everything (and I mean EVERYTHING) realistic, including the aerodynamics, fuels, etc. It also converts the KSP system into the Solar system, with all the correct sizes, distances, and inclinations. So, while in Orbiter one would just follow a procedure of flight, in Realism Overhauled KSP one has to literally BUILD a realistic rocket/ spacecraft. Oh, and things such as AOA and dynamic stress exist there too.

2. I know the STS takeoff procedure, I don't need much help. Thanks.
