Question UCGO-Arrow Skins black on load

Hello all,

I have installed the UCGO 2.5.

When I load the game the Arrow vessel is totally black. I have tried changing the skins but nothing happens.

Can someone please help me as I can hardly see the ship in the darkness of space.

I am not even sure if the default skins work as I do not know what they are supposed to look like but I can only assume they are not black.

Well I managed to turn on local light sources in the video settings and now I get about half of the ship with skins although it's a bit patchy in places?

Well through a process of elimination it seems that by turning of "enable advanced textures" it fixed the problem.

Happy joy joy.

It has only taken me near enough 3 hours to work this out!!

I hope this helps someone else with the same issues in the future.

Glad to see you sorted this out!
Maybe it could help to know how "fresh" your Orbiter install was, which version, and some of your hardware specs.
