Problem UCGO Arrow Freighter won't work with Orbiter 2016

Hi everyone

I've downloaded Orbiter 2016 and so far it looks absolutely awesome. Only problem - the UCGO Arrow Frighter (my favourite ship) and the UMmo won't work with the new release, both with the traditional and D3D9 engine.

Operative system is Windows 10 64 bit. Below there's the log (for the traditional graphic engine)

You will have to contact DanSteph about that and ask him to rebuild his add-ons for Orbiter 2016. It's not an Orbiter core issue.

Well now that its been officially released, We hope to see that he will work on it. for now I'm sticking with 2010 until thats done

Yesterday I've posted the 2016 news on Dansteph forum.
He said he was waiting for the official release first (he didn't want to chase the RCs), before updating his creations.

Thanks for posting the news. :thumbup:

As for Release Candidates, from my perspective, the whole point of RC builds is to chase them so that users don't need to wait after the official Orbiter release for stuff to work. An RC build is designed to be close enough to release that nothing significant will change before the GM release.

Anyway, I'm just venting a bit because UMMu and Radio MFD in OrbiterSound crash in Orbiter 2016, and I like those add-ons. :p

While we are venting, I have an idea to make those things less dependent on one person: make more open-source addons! Oh wait... :lol:

Has anyone heard from Dan Steph recently? He hasn't been active on Orbiter Forum at all this year. I hope he is doing alright.

It's been twelve months since the last post here on this subject.

I've reloaded Orbiter today (version 2016), and found and reinstalled the UCGO files.

The arrow still doesn't load; but the website is still active... Any news folks?
