Turn off AMSO Angel

Disable the damage&Failures option in the launch pad dialog. Or learn flying.

On the subject, anyone out in Orbiter land know how to give him (the angel) color?
He is bland. I'd like to put him on a colorfull gown. Is this possible??

Turning him in to a cheese burger is not what I had in mind, funny though, he would look better as a star. Please do not send Elvis next.................. Ha........

No his nose may fall off and ingnite on reentry. Ha.................................

IIRC, the AMSO meshes are encoded so if you change the mesh you will just end up with a scrambled mess on the screen anyway.

Wondering why Martin or who ever left her with out color, it looks like the Project Gemini meshing in the cockpit. Just kind of undone. Maybe it will be addressed in an updated version.

You needn't switch the angel off. You can quit the scenario and try it again.
And as far as I know There is no way to switch the angel off. In my opinion it isn't bad that there is this angel. It tells that you died.

Ah.. the glaring honesty of this post is simply hilarious!

No, this particular mesh is NOT encoded (crypted). Therefore, it is easy to replace it by whatever mesh you want.

The Music can also be changed by any other music. You just need to replace the file "marchefunebre.mp3" with another mp3 file of your choice. Of course, you will need to name this file "marchefunebre.mp3".

Disable the damage&Failures option in the launch pad dialog.

Doing this, will just reduce the probability to come into situations with deep troubles, situations who have a great chance to "finish with the Angel".

As documented into the chapter "TECHNICAL INFORMATION" of the AMSO manual, YOU CAN suppress the "Angel" feature: You just need to modify the concerned scenario(s) by adding the parameter INVULNERABLE=1, to parameters section of concerned "human controlled" vessel (Apollo and/or LM).

With invulnerability activated, if, for example, you hit hardly the Moon surface with the LM, your vessel will just rebounce, even maybe into deep space, if you hit this Moon at high speed (the famous Orbiter "rebounce" problem).
