My Transfer MFD is not keeping track of the Dv during the ejection burn.

Got myself in an elliptical orbit and aligned with the moon. I used the Transfer MFD to plot an HTO with an indicated Dv of 1856 M/s. When I reached the ejection point and began the burn, the MFD remained stuck on 1856 instead of counting down to zero.

Seems to me that the last time I did this, it worked as expected and as documented.

I stopped the burn when the plotted orbit intersected the moon orbit, and hope for the best.

Odds are good that I did something wrong, since I am a newbie. Tried twice, and it acted the same way. Meanwhile. I seem to be headed approximately toward the moon along a (for the time being) elliptical path.

I know this thread is a bit old. I apologize.

I've noticed this issue myself. Not only does the delta-v not count down like it's supposed to, but the hypothetical orbit begins to radically change once the burn begins. It's almost as though the burn is just another hypothetical input that it is trying to calculate, rather than a thing that is actually happening.

But I've also noticed that this happens only if I've switched, for whatever reason, to the external view and then switched back. If I set up my hypothetical orbit and resist the urge to look outside to see how pretty my ship is against the Earth and instead stay inside the cockpit, I seem to not have an issue at all.

It would be awesome if this minor inconvenience could be fixed, but ultimately it doesn't seem to be a big deal.
