Just noticed there is a remake or some attempt at the second most funny act ever:

I just saw this on a plane. By 'saw' I mean it was on the screen when I glanced up. It took about five seconds to know it wasn't worth watching. It looked like a pointless and ugly film. I know not everyone shares my taste in cinema here, but that's my caveat anyway.

Should have said the obvious above in #1 The Marx Brothers are my favourites, insert any movie here....

UK equivalent didn't really exist, the movie industry then wasn't up to Holllywood. Best in my opinion is Will Hay and company, he was also an amateur astronomer:
