Terrorists thwarted

Obama is just a Darker version of Bush. But Bush actually cared for the Space Program.

Where is your constitution now?

It's in Obama's bathroom being used for toilet paper. Since he's green, you know, he recycles, so he puts his toilet paper in Bush's bathroom so it can be defiled again before finally being flushed.

Somewhere, George Mason rolls in his grave...

This is one of the most baffling things that's happened in US politics this year, which is saying quite a bit. I can't decide out if there's some bigger picture somewhere (for better or worse) or if the Senate just woke up on the idiot side of the bed yesterday. Hopefully this will get shot down in the Supreme Court; until then start looking around your house for nooks that are out of sight of your television and remember, if anybody asks, 2+2=5.

:WTF: Congress?:@

it is a bit disappointing, that on both sides of the Atlantic, the governments make unconstitutional laws and hope that the time from application to when it got sacked by the constitutional court of the country, is enough for their agenda.

Nobody wants to have terrorists in their country. But you can't find terrorists by accusing the innocent. That means, your police just has to check much more people, with the result, that the real terrorists actually have it easier to get oversee.

If I'm interpreting this article correctly, it would seems that it's pretty much the same thing as we had in Sweden recently, am I correct?

Time for a rant...

Human nature is what it is, and governments are a human phenomenon. It is human nature for a government to gather power unto itself, no matter if it's a monarchy, a communist dictatorship, or one of the sainted democracies. When it come right down to it, they all want the same thing: more power.

In the U.S., people long ago got complacent and decided that they didn't need to keep an eye on their pulic servant critters, and figure that the Bill of Rights, and the courts, will take care of it. In other countires, they often think that having the right to vote means they are safe. All wrong. Jefferson was right: all governments need a periodic house-cleaning and a fresh start, or you wind up with this kind of BS, where the government stirs up fear and doubt about threats hiding under the bed and uses it as an opportunity for a power grab.

As they say in Battlestar Galactica, "all this has happened before and all will happen again".

@Andy1: LOLOLOLOLOLOLOL!!!! I've never seen those two jerks burned that way!!!!!

@Andy2: Agreed, unfortunately, our jerks in washington have so much power that we couldn't clean house even if we wanted to short of dropping several nukes on the area which isn't a solution. Unfortunately obama is now starting to look like he ='s bush just like mccain definately does.
This unconstitutionality can not stand!
