I found that nice game for mobiles, probably a must-have if you're a space addict ! You have to terraform a planet and achieve objectives relative to your faction. Factions are from Sid Meiers:Alpha Centauri, which really gives some interesting background. You earn your credits from building mines ; planets & moons come with resources maps (hidden in expert mode). One of the most interesting features is that, once the planet becomes hospitable enough you can create lifeforms, combining 4 genes in an unique sequence. Like "Archea" ; "Big" ; "Low-Oxygen tolerance" ; "Exothermic" or "Mammals" ; "Social" ; "Domestic" ; "Beautiful". Genes like "Beautiful" generate credits (tourism, trade) but make those lifeforms especially frail. You earn "Culture points" as there are more and more settlers on your planet/moon. First you'll have to build habitats with limited capacity but if you do well enough, the planet will eventually become (and stay !) hospitable for human life. From there population will grow without any capacity limit. Some genes from your lifeforms boost population growth ("fruits" ; "domestic"...) but others limit growth ("toxic" ; "contagious"). But again, each gene is two-sided : toxic applies a penalty to population growth, but make the organism resistant to high oxygen levels.
Really there's a lot of stuff and the gameplay is interesting. You can let the game in "real time", where years will go and you'll have to check your planet to keep changes under control. As an example, it might seem a good idea to raise temperature on Europa to melt ice into water. But if you lose control, all the ice melts and your colony get drowned. And you're game over, because you can't build on an ocean-planet.
The Solar System and its major moons are modeled. You can unlock some of them, others can be bought in packs or independently (the game itself is free of charge). Some packs even include extra-solar planets.
So yeah, I like it !
