Hi there!

This is a beta of my launcher TeraV. It will launch the components of my mars's mission "Leo300", that is under "costruction".

It as someting like 700 tons of payload in LEO.

It require Vika's Spacecraft3 and Multistage2

A review for this rocket-

-Very basic; no stages, no autopilot, no fancy launchpad; it's just a rocket with a power thruster and steering that felt realistic; that can also be considered a good thing; it's very easy to add to scenarios; just copy and paste it; no messing with config files.

-Aesthetics on this rocket were surprisingly nice. It wasn't the best I've ever seen, but I'd certainly say it's better than most of the stuff on orbithangar, though again, it doesn't compare to the most famous addons, like the DGIV, XR vessels, shuttle fleet, etc.

-Very powerful, but not absurdly so(it doesn't feel like cheating). I just did some basic tests before writing this review, but it was able to reach space(not orbit) in less than a minute(no payload, vertical launch) using about 40% of it's fuel, and it was able to lift an XR5 with full payload and full fuel(about a million KG) quite fine.

Good if you're looking for something somewhat unrealistic, simple and powerful.

It has 3 stages + fairing... did you even test it?

Aesthetics are quite bad, actually. Even if I don't focus on the texture that is subject to taste, the mesh has two flaws. Where the fairing separates you can see through and in the area where the rocket narrows down towards the top, the polys are inverted, so that looking from the outside in they're transparent, but from the inside out, they're visible. You can see the polys if you look from the side...

I guess the "not absurdly so" is subject to interpretation, but I can tell you that the first stage alone is almost enough to reach orbit. It will get you to some 7 km/s at an apogee of 200 km. Right before the stage separation the rocket pulls 7.2 G's.

I don't think this is a very good addon. All it is is a giant engine that lifts the Moon into orbit. The mesh is simple and contains mistakes, the texture is dull and the whole thing is SC3...

Another complaint about the way the addon is packaged up... there's no readme explaining controls. I can tell you that J drops a stage...

I'd rate it as 2/5.

I wasn't aware of the staging; or the graphical issues from the stages; I just figured it ran out of fuel as a full rocket; like I said in my post, I just tested the XR5 on it and launched it straight up; just a brief engine test. Some of my points stand, and others don't; keeping in mind your additions.

I don't think it's overpowered; I plan to use it for fully loaded XR5s(a million KG), and, from another test flight, I think I'd just barely be able to get it into lunar orbit if I flew it right.

Lifting an XR-5 into a lunar orbit (even "barely")is a reasonable definition of 'overpowered.'

"Somewhat unrealistic" is an understatement. :tiphat:
