After years of playing this simulation on and off, I've finally registered to make a post about an issue that has been bugging me lately.
I'm not sure if this has been discussed before (I searched but found nothing), but switching between internal and external view slightly alters the vertical speed and acceleration for a split second. Normally this wouldn't be a problem, but if I'm on course for the moon, for example, and i hit F1 a few times, the orbit trajectory gets all out of whack.
In another example, I'll be orbiting Earth, and I'll switch views from external back to the cockpit, and I'll see the vertical acceleration jump up from basically 0 to 10 and then back to 0 for about half a second. A few repetitions of that, and my periapsis has decreased 25km and my apoapsis has increased by 25km. Again, apologies if this has been discussed before, but this is one of those issues that could have a hundred different topic names. I'd appreciate any help.
EDIT: I'm on Orbiter 2010.
