The official AMS-02 Facebook page said:
Congratulations to Trent Martin (AMS NASA Project Manager) and Ken Bollweg (AMS NASA Deputy Project Manager) for being presented the "NASA Exceptional Achievement Medal" for their work on AMS. This is one of the top honors presented by NASA to civil servants.

This image from Mark Kelly via Twitter shows John Young & Mark Kelly standing side-by-side. It's a pretty neat photo - the first & last Shuttle Commanders together!

I already posted a link to following article on STS-133 updates thread, but it's also related to STS-134:

Spaceflight Now:Official launch dates targeted for remaining shuttles:
The AMS payload will not be delivered to the Florida space center until late August and three months of on-site processing are required before launch.

A late-November/early December launch was ruled out because of conflicts with other planned station launches. Temperature constraints related to the station's orbit prevented a launch in January and range conflicts with other unmanned missions pushed the approved launch date to Feb. 26.

ET-138 departs to KSC, here's some articles from my favorite newspaper, the Florida Today:

A second line of shuttle employees this morning will join the Storyville Stompers brass band leading the "last" external tank out of its Michoud Assembly Facility hangar east of New Orleans.

The 15-story, 27-foot diameter tank built by Lockheed Martin Corp. will help launch what is now the last of two remaining scheduled shuttle missions, an Endeavour flight targeted for the end of February.

To watch live coverage of the event starting at 9:45 a.m. EDT, click on the NASA TV box at right to launch a viewer. You can also follow live tweets here.

Guest speakers during a roughly 40-minute ceremony will include U.S. Sen. David Vitter of Louisiana; Robert Lightfoot, director of NASA's Marshall Space Flight Center in Huntsville, Ala., which manages the Michoud facility; Bill Hill, assistant associate administrator for the shuttle program; and Joanne Maguire, executive vice president of Lockheed Martin Space Systems Company.

Numerous other shuttle program and community leaders are on hand, including two astronauts assigned to the flight labeled STS-134: commander Mark Kelly and mission specialist Roberto Vittori.

The tank, known as ET-138, will be loaded on the Pegasus barge and towed 900 miles across the Gulf of Mexico to Kennedy Space Center, likely arriving by next Wednesday.

Michoud will deliver another tank to KSC that will serve a shuttle on standby in case anything goes wrong with that last scheduled mission.

However, NASA, the White House and Congress are considering whether to fly that "launch on need" shuttle -- assuming it is not needed in an emergency -- for a 135th and final mission before the shuttle program is retired.

And there to celebrate was Sen. David Vitter:

U.S. Sen. David Vitter of Louisiana opened this morning's ceremony celebrating the delivery of NASA's last shuttle external tank by ripping President Obama's "radical" proposals for the space agency.

"You all deserve better, and the nation deserves better," he told an audience of hundreds of NASA and contractor employees at the Michoud Assembly Facility near New Orleans, earning loud applause.

Vitter, who is running for re-election, is the ranking Republican on the subcommittee that oversees NASA policy, led by Florida Sen. Bill Nelson, a Democrat. Vitter has been a vocal critic of Obama's proposal to cancel the Constellation program since it was announced earlier this year.

He said the Obama plan to turn over the transportation of astronauts and cargo to low Earth orbit to commercial companies would sacrifice U.S. leadership in human spaceflight and lengthen the gap in U.S. flights after the shuttle program ends.

He also criticized NASA Administrator Charlie Bolden's recent interview with Al Jazeera, part of an administration effort to reach out to Muslim communities.

"Call me old fashioned, but I certainly don't want (NASA's) primary purpose to be outreach to Muslim countries to make them feel good about their science [inaudible]," he said.

Congress has not yet approved NASA's 2011 budget proposal, and may not until after this fall's elections are over.

Still one more ET, ET-122. I'm willing to bet you'll see a shuttle strapped on it in little under a year. Just maybe.
