Great that we get to see an Edwards landing. I never saw one live.

And I just saw Endeavour and ISS again. A meteor crossed Endeavours way.

From NASA website:

Pam Melroy is right now shooting approaches in the Shuttle Training Aircraft(STA). Very nice and easy handling on the approaches so far.

Crew is now completing the fluid loading. MCC still targeting a RWY04L landing but depending on weather balloon data they could opt to switch to RWY22R.

The Orbiter Recovery Convoy is now moving into position to support landing.

Was it just sheer coincidence that you uploaded the MDD to the SSU Subversion a few days ago, or do you have a good working crystal orb at home?

Takes about a week for Edwards processing to get the orbiter ready for the ferry flight back to KSC. Then it's all up to the weather again when KSC arrival actually occurs.

Atmospheric effects now active
Now 26 mins until landing

This is the dangerous part...

Just a little question: Is the airspace over Los Angeles closed because of the shuttle landing?

Will the chute deploy before or after nose wheel touch down ?

Edit:
nominal chute

Just a little question: Is the airspace over Los Angeles closed because of the shuttle landing?

Why that? Just look in which altitude the Shuttle intercepts the HAC. it is until shortly before landing, above controlled airspace.
