Surely all of the UK has unlimited broadband by now? We got auto-switched to unlimited by NTL 4 years ago!

Not if you're with BT. We've only just been moved up from 5GB! And we only get 512MB download speed!!!

How heavy are those pumpkin suits?

If they have the cooling and heating features of the suits then they must be carrying a lot of water weight.

Sun is starting to set now over KSC...

The ACES (advanced crew escape suit) weights "Only" 35 kg, including survival gear.

For people who are worried about how many MB of download limit they are using:

Simply type your router's IP address into internet explorer, and you should be able to see how many bytes you have received.

Then, copy & paste the bytes you have received into the bytes box on the following page, and it will convert them to MB & GB for you...

On Launch Pad 39A at NASA's Kennedy Space Center in Florida, the orbiter access arm and White Room are extended toward space shuttle Endeavour after rollback of the rotating service structure. The rotating structure provides protected access to the shuttle for changeout and servicing of payloads at the pad. It is supported by a rotating bridge that pivots on a vertical axis on the west side of the pad's flame trench. After the RSS is rolled back, the orbiter is ready for fuel cell activation and external tank cryogenic propellant loading operations.

'only'

Those suits weigh 60% of my own weight. :)

Become 30, then it suddenly weights only 40% of your own weight. :P

I really hope we have one day astronauts with such suits for SSU.

Out of curiosity, how does the USA staff walk through the flight deck there without hitting any switches, panels, or whatnot?
