fist of all, sorry for my bad english,

I have build a station and everytime I update my time ( i.e. when I just woke up and start orbiter again) my station is disoriantated. I'll allready tried to dock a mir-2 core and a mir-2 titan but when I update the time, it all go wrong, and i takes a lot of time to orientate again...

any solutions?

Thanks!

More information please. What do you mean by "update my time"? Does that mean you are changing the time in the scenario editor? By how much are you changing the time? What is the orientation and angular velocity of the station before you change the time? Do you have non-spherical gravity sources and/or gravity gradient torque turned on? Do the modules stay docked together and does their relative orientation remain fixed?

I think when you have non-sherical gravity sources on your station gets little angular velocity. You could deactivate is and kill your angular vel with scenario or absolute kill rotation. But this would be a little bit cheating. Do you mean what I described with gets disorientated?

yeah, that's what I mean. and with update my time, I mean when I go to scenario editor, clcik date, click now, and add one hour.

also, I have gravity-gradient torgue activated but nonspherical gravity sources is deactivated

okay, maybe this makes it a little bit clear:

if my station is flying horizontal, it's Okay. but when I update my time (because I like to do it all in real time) he's on the other site of our planet and he is (i.e.) up side down

I don't whant this to happen, so what can I do to stop this??

thanks!!

I thinkt this is just normal. Because when you update the time you are moving around the earth and you haveb't any angular vel this means that you have an other angle.

So your station is always facing the planet with the same side the entire orbit when you run it in real time, but when you enter a new time with the scenario editor it does not anymore?

What option do you have for vessel state propagation?

no,
if I yesterday played orbiter till.. let's say 21:30 and I start orbiter the next day and update the time (because when I start it's 21:30) then my station is completely disorientated. and I know it is normal that he do that, but is there a way to stop it?

I guess you could set the station rotating at a rate that would keep it in the right attitude relative to the earth.

Have a look at the stock scenario "2009 Edition > Demos > Spin Stabilisation"

It's in the latest beta version.
