STOCK ET AND SRBs REPLACEMENT TEXTURES You can use this textures to replace Atlantis ET and SRBs standard textures. INSTALLATION: Simply put files srb.dds srbu.dds and Tank.dds into Textures2 folder. This textures does not overwrite any default file. If you want to uninstall them, simply delete each one. Happy flights.

They look GREAT! The only problem is that, like the old tank, the shuttle does not cast a shadow on the tank (guess that is for the next release). Oh well, at least they look a little more like the real thing. Thanks for all the hard work to make this change.

Thanks David. And yes: Dynamic shadows is a very complex question that affects the programming core and texture mapping (a good idea is also implement bump textures). This is a very hard thing to improve.

Dynamic shadows and bump textures works more or less in this way: There will be a new texture with alpha channel for the shadows mapping working at the same time with the standar textures (showing shadows in relation with the sun position) and the standard textures will have also one alpha channel with the bump effect (this is very useful for example in texture rugged zones). Obviously, a frame-eater.....

This is a very important implement. We hope next version could get it.
