Never gets old, despite some claiming they're becoming "boring".
 
Congrats to Spacex on a great launch! Strolled outside and had a great view of Dragon, Falcon9 2nd Stage and solar panel covers, going almost straight overhead. Dragon and 2nd stage were about Mag.-1, solar panel covers maybe Mag.+1. Most excellent :thumbup:

I didn't get to watch the feed live, but Youtube to the rescue. Holy cow, I don't think that'll ever get old!

That video is amazing. At 3:00 the view from the second stage looking back as the first stage turns and burns is simply epic.
 
Friend and I filmed the launch and landing. Here's our footage from Port Canaveral.

June 12-13: NICER is installed on the International Space Station at ELC2.
June 14: NICER is powered up and deployed. NICER’s range of motion is verified by robotic camera.
June 15: NICER executes initial pointing control test and detector initial checkout.
June 17: NICER uses raster scan of Serpens X-1 to determine X-ray instrument and star tracker alignment.
June 21-July 12: Initial calibration and hardware commissioning.
July 13: Begin NICER science program.
