News SpaceX commercial launches won't be insured?

Just saw this discussed on Secretprojects.co.uk that the German radarsats that SpaceX is to launch won't be insured because SpaceX won't release detailed specifications of their launchers to the insurers:

sounds rather strange, but possible. testing data would be necessary to make a standard risk assessment. But they could also insure based on past flight data with higher fees. But the Bernd Leitenberger Blog explains, that the past data was too poor in quality to permit any insurance. They simply can't tell better than: it might get lost.
