Any ETA on the first rough version? I cannot see how the already exellent IK RMS can be improved much more, so care to share what the improvements are?

I'm currently working to have the grapple point direction maintain a constant direction while translating. I also want to allow the grapple point direction to be rotated while remaining at a constant location. I'm hoping to finish this over the weekend, but it might take another week or two.

So you are basically 'flying' the endeffector ?

Sounds great! Will the A8 panel be fully or nearly fully operational?

Let me know if you need any changes done to the A8 panel.

I have resumed work on the MLP and is currently working on the cryo pipes. Thanks to Harmsway! I now have some pretty good photos of the cryo pipes. So far I'm working on getting the LH2 pipes done.

In the attached screenshots, you can see the preliminary work on the LH2 fill/drain pipes and the LH2 vent line.

I haven't done much work on panel A8 since my last sourceforge update. I don't plan to do any more work on the panels until the resized meshes are done.

OK, so that meas the resized meshes are the number 1 priority right now.

Is the ISS the correct scale ?

The Mesh Wizard bug is "fixed". It was a problem with our mesh:

I found the cause of the problem.
The mesh is bogus.
It has MSHX1 and GROUPS twice.
Second GROUPS definition has 5 instead of 599 groups
That causes the CTD.

It looks as if groups were added with notepad, not modelled and converted with a convertor.
Mesh Wizard is not a tool to diagnose bogus meshes, edited with notepad. It is a viewer.
It does not like typos and misplaced parameters, that might result of manual edition of MSH files.

Looks like Orbiter is more robust for malformed meshes as Mesh Wizard, but still I think we should pay attention to quality.

How long until you can return to coding and hopefully check in the revised meshes and codes?

Let me calculate:
One weekend with my girlfriend as excuse for hiding in a laboratory for months.
21 x 4 hours of sleep deficit, which needs to be repaid.

Is Wednesday, OK? :sorry:

What was wrong witht he mesh, triangulation ??

The Atlantis_VC.msh had two instances of the line MSHX1, when it's supposed to only have one. It also has two instances of the line GROUPS when it's supposed to only have one.

Ahh, is that the corrected scale version ?

Just asking, because I believe myself and Siamese Cat are on hold until it is finalized.
